Abyssus Kriek
With each new barrel-aged sour that Driftwood Brewery creates, a new bird of prey is unleashed into unsuspecting liquor store shelves.
Piercing outwards with a burst of rich cherry red fury, the formidable kite locks onto its prey. A kite was chosen to represent this complex kriek for its smooth in-flight agility and often fiery red plumage.
Moody silver feathers contrasted by cherry-red laser pulse captures the dark complexity of this funky sour, chock-full of ripe tart cherries.
Abyssus was named for its origins, aged in French Oak wine barrels for 18 months, and for its potential as a cellarable gem.
