Viewfield Brett Saison 

The apex predator of its small domain, Driftwood Brewery’s Viewfield Brett Saison makes the natural into something fantastical. 

The bright and blobby natural patterning on dragonfly abdomens were the initial inspiration for this design. We imagine this is how a dragonfly’s prey might view this predator - the victim insect's multi-faceted eyes transforming the dragonfly into a trippy, black light monster reminiscent of head-shop posters.

This phantasmagoric stalker hypnotizes prey with confusing patterns and menacing eye-markings. Equally terrifying and captivating. 

The beer name continues to break convention, spreading over the can's shoulder and emphasizing the optical illusion style of the art, while sharp contrasting blues and red cut through the business of the design.
